Larry has 15+ years customer service experience, in both recruitment and clinical research for Pharmaceutical, Biotech and MedTech industries.
Since joining The RFT Group in 2006, Larry has managed end to end recruitment process for roles at all levels in many Life Science companies i.e. from small indigenous operations to global multinationals. Larry manages some Key Accounts in both Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals in the RFT Group and is also involved in driving business development activities.
Larry has worked on numerous leadership recruitment projects within;
- Clinical Development / Research,
- Commercial Organisations,
- Manufacturing Plants and
- Virtual Offices for External Manufacturing
Given my background, I have a passion in supporting companies with recruitment in new drug development pathway from pre-clinical stages through the early Clinical Development process which includes Clinical Trial Planning and strategising for IND/CTA, as this study progresses into Clinical Operations which includes Clinical Trial Conduct from Phase I-III; and finally into Regulatory Submission including Registration and Post Marketing in Phase 4. Clinical Development is an exciting and growing space in Ireland, with many companies managing Global Programs from here.
Prior to working in recruitment, Larry gained four years’ experience in Clinical Research sector with ICON Clinical Research in Dublin (2000-2003) and later with the Clinical Trials Center in Sydney University (2005-2006). Larry graduated from NUI Maynooth in 2000 with a BSc in Experimental Physics and from UCD Michael Smurfit School of Business in 2009 with an MBA.
