Analytical Lab Supervisor
required to lead and manage a large team of experienced laboratory analysts, and oversee method development and validation activities.
Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, the Analytical Lab Supervisor must have 4 years proven supervisory experience in an Analytical Laboratory.
Responsibilities of Analytical Lab Supervisor:
Ensure all specifications are met and that all batches are released in a timely manner.
Manage all CAPAs and Laboratory Investigations within the analytical laboratory.
Complete analytical instrument (i.e. HPLC, GC, UV, and NIR) trouble-shooting and problem solving.
Ensure laboratory equipment is maintained and functions as per requirements.
Lead and develop training requirements for laboratory analysts.
Ensure compliance to GLP, GXP, EHS standards within the laboratory.
Requirements of Analytical Lab Supervisor:
Degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Food Science or equivalent.
4 - 5 years supervisory experience in an Analytical Laboratory, with 8 years analytical lab experience.
Proven experience in using and troubleshooting; NIR, UV, HPLC and GC analytical equipment.
Proven knowledge of quality systems, analytical lab equipment validation and LIMS is essential.
