Bioprocess Lead Engineer required to deliver biologics pipeline of products to registration over the next several years. Priorities will include leading process development of monoclonal antibody development and cell culture capacity of biologics manufacturing - in the delivery of late stage biotech product pipeline.
Responsibilities of Bioprocess Lead Engineer: Lead process design including the development of unit operations, control strategies etc. for a multi-product biopharmaceutical manufacturing platform. Provide lead bioprocess engineering input into technical transfer and scale-up activities. Play a central role in commissioning and start-up of the facility. Drive day-to-day support (trouble-shooting, process improvements etc.) during the operational phase. Act as part of site opinion leadership team on Bioprocess, which will also include coaching and developing bioprocess engineers, in upstream and downstream
Requirements of Bioprocess Lead Engineer: Degree in Biochemical/Chemical Engineering discipline. 8 years industry experience in scale-up, technology transfer, commissioning and operational support of a mammalian cell-based biopharmaceutical manufacturing plant. Lead experience in large-molecule technology transfer. Must have proven experience in upstream and downstream biopharmaceutical unit operations.
