lead analytical role in supporting raw material and in-process testing, product development on next generation products and management of analytical lab function.
Responsibilities of Principal Analytical Chemist
Supporting the scientific needs of raw materials, analytical method development, enabling technology research, multi site/lab transfers and technical problem solving.
Apply a broad range of analytical techniques and novel pharmaceutical and polymeric materials.
The candidate will provide mentoring/supervision to analysts on continuous improvement of pharmaceutical analytical skills, and work with management teams in addressing project needs.
Requirements of Principal Analytical Chemist:
BSc, Masters or preferably PhD in chemistry or similar discipline.
8+ year's Analytical Chemistry experience in FDA regulated environment.
Strong pharmaceutical cGMP experience in an analytical laboratory.
Strong chromatographic skills (experienced in HPLC, GC, MS, GPC).
Strong technical problem solving skills.
Team leadership in a technical arena is required.
