QC Laboratory Supervisor
We currently seek a high calibre Laboratory Supervisor. This job role will report to the Laboratory Manager.
Provide leadership and ensure excellence in relation to GLP, GXP, EHS standards within the laboratory.
Lead and manage a large team of experienced laboratory technicians.
Responsible to ensure all specifications are met and that all batches are released in a timely manner.
Ensure laboratory equipment is maintained and functions as per requirements.
Manage all CAPAs and Laboratory Investigations within the analytical laboratory.
Complete instrument trouble-shooting and problem solving.
Laboratory method development and validation activities.
Lead and develop training.
requirements for laboratory technicians.
Provide training and track training requirements.
Assist Laboratory Manager in projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Actively participate in teams throughout the plant.
Skills/Experience Requirements
Minimum is a Degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Food Science or equivalent
Strong experience of managing an Analytical Laboratory environment is essential. Experience of NIR, HPLC, GC is essential.
Strong leadership skills with knowledge of quality systems, validation and laboratory information systems (LIMS) is essential.
Working within a manufacturing industry is essential.
Approx 3 yrs supervisory experience in an Analytical Laboratory. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
