Product Manager
 
Based with a fast growing highly successful international biotechnology company this newly created role will report to the Business Unit Manager Haemoglobins, and will have responsibility for the provision of marketing communications, account management and sales team support.

Overview of the position of Product Manager:

 
The successful candidate will be customer focussed and will work independently and as part of a team responsible for assisting the company in achieving its sales budget for defined geographic regions.  The position will be based in Ireland.  He/she will work effectively to build productive relationships with external customers and other functional groups within the company.
 
The Product Manager will be responsible for the following:  


  • Development of territory specific tactical strategies
  • Maintain worldwide forecast, analyse sales ( trend analysis profitability)
  • Contribute in development of marketing communications
  • Support distribution networks
  • Develop Sales tools
  • Open to special assignments on needs basis
 
Education and Experience:
 

  • Minimum of qualification of a BSc., in the life sciences
  • A MBA would be an advantage.
  • 2-3 years experience working in the field of IVD’s or similar field
  • Experience in working in sales
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Fluency in another language is preferable but not necessary.
  • Experience in working with international markets.
