QC Microbiologist -Contract -Waterford
The maintenance of a safe efficient and functional Microbiology Laboratory developed to the required standards.
Reporting To: Microbiology Team Leader
Accountabilities:
Provide microbiological support to the site.
Ensure QC Laboratories meet current Laboratory Practice (cGLP) requirements.
Maintain, update and issue microbiological methods, specifications and SOP's in compliance to pharmacopoeial and regulatory requirements.
Audit and review microbiology test results on a daily basis to ensure compliance with cGLP.
Training other team members
Relevant 3rd level Science qualification
3 - 5 year’s experience in a Healthcare manufacturing environment - ideally part of which would be in the pharmaceutical sector.
