Production People Manager
require an experienced people manager to drive; production, capacity, quality and training of the Production team for new product introductions and associated production targets, in a fast paced environment for our client based in Cork.
Responsibilities of Production People Manager:
Drive performance i.e. output, quality, safety, attendance and in conjunction with HR, carry out timely performance appraisals, counseling and disciplinary actions if required.
Continually exceed Manufacturing targets i.e. output requirements, line fill targets, efficiency, area safety and plant quality goals.
Lead recruitment process and manage training requirements in conjunction with H.R.
Manage and develop cost improvement initiatives for Production group.
Maintain all areas of responsibility to high levels of GMP.
Support introduction of new products/process in the area.
Implement and support HR policies and practices onto Production floor
Maintain systems and processes to all ISO, cGMP requirements and FDA regulations.
Requirements of Production People Manager:
Must have minimum of Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering or similar discipline.
4-5 years people management experience of 30+ operators.
8- 9 years experience in preferably a GMP Manufacturing environment.
Ideally candidates will be experienced in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma concepts.
