Process Chemical Engineer - Pharma
required to provide engineering support to all manufacturing and control system related issues, including; daily trouble shooting, optimisation, cost reduction, training and coaching of manufacturing personnel.
The site is currently undergoing significant development and expansion. The Process Engineer will be required to Project Manage all Equipment & Process Engineering activities and then daily engineering support of manufacturing operations.
Process Chemical Engineer - Pharma will lead the following start-up activities;
Commissioning and validation activities during project start-up.
Identification and project management of continuous improvement projects. Work closely with technical support chemists and other depts. to deliver these continuous improvement projects.
Preparation of feasibility studies and operating budgets for future product introductions.
Planning and leadership of technical transfers for future product introductions to AIPO.
Departmental budgeting as delegated by the manufacturing manager.
Project Management of medium scale capital projects.
Requirements of the Process Engineer:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Ideally Chemical or Process Engineering.
4+ year’s process engineering in cGMP pharmaceutical industry.
Strong Process Engineering experience, i.e..: batch processing, automation, technical transfers, commissioning and validation in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven experience of leading NPIs in start-up pharmaceutical environment.
Proven project management skills, including; deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting the predefined quality requirements.
Good verbal and written communication skills, and excellent presentation
skills.
