Alliance / Finance Manager – young ambitious pharma

Our client is a young highly ambitious, fast growing, speciality pharmaceutical company looking to hire a highly motivated and entrepreneurial professional for a key high profile early appointment with their Irish wholly owned subsidiary. Led by a highly experienced executive team, this well managed profitable business has ambitious plans for its future, driven by a strong commercial portfolio and an exciting innovative clinical pipeline.

The newly created role of Alliance / Finance Manager offers a rare opportunity for a bright high performer looking to take responsibility for a wide range of critical functions including all alliance management, financial services, supply chain management, commercial strategy pertaining to the Irish subsidiary. The Alliance / Finance Manager will be a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders.

Job Spec

· Lead alliance management for the legal entity and all partnership agreements

· Create board reports and act as the primary Board of Directors liaison

· Responsible for supporting financial services.

· Develop strategy and execute tactics to drive the commercial organization across multiple

brands, countries and therapeutic areas.

· Provide local commercial teams with necessary guidance and strategy by using analytics,

research, and insights to understand, measure, and support timely business decisions.

· Manage third party supply agreements

· Manage inventory and demand/supply forecast

· Act in accordance with Code of Ethics.

· Ad hoc projects as required and assigned to support a growing franchise

· Work directly with the CFO and COO on corporate strategy and governance.

Ad hoc requirements, as the candidate will be required to participate in many cross functional meetings, and take on responsibilities as they arise.

Person Spec

With 3 – 5 Years of experience as an ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA, the preferred candidate will have strong business acumen (ideally an advanced degree in business). Highly organised with the exceptional communication skills you will be assured in working across all levels within the company as well as with external partners. Working in a young fast growing business environment where flexibility is often essential to getting things done is important.
