Head of Quality Dublin
With annual sales in excess of $100M, our client is a global medical diagnostics company headquartered in Ireland. The company’s product portfolio consists of diagnostic tests for autoimmune, infectious disease, diabetes and liver/intestine disease states, and is focused on the clinical laboratory, point-of-care and speciality material supply segments of the diagnostic market. Over 850 products are sold to customers in approximately 100 countries around the world.
Job Spec :
As a result of increased leadership investment in our Quality Department, our client is seeking a Head of Quality who will lead all aspects of Quality at their Ireland location. The newly appointed Head of Quality will have 3-5 direct reports, a total of 20+ personnel in the Quality Department and will report to the Chief Scientific Officer, who is a member of the Executive Management Team.
Person Spec :
With a relevant academic profile and a depth of experience in in vitro diagnostics or related industry, the successful candidate for this key high profile appointment will be an experienced Quality leader who is attracted to setting and executing a vision to build a best-in-class Quality organisation.
Necessary experience will include… management of global regulatory audits / inspections, maintenance of all aspects of Quality Management System, project management of change programs, as well as building and leading effective teams, and highly motivated individuals.
The position provides a tremendous opportunity to implement best practises in risk management, quality process, data-driven analytics, business decisions and human resource management within a wide scope of accountability. The Head of Quality will work collaboratively and influentially with Quality leads at global sites.
