Payroll Analyst II

Role Purpose
Delivery of payroll services to weekly & monthly paid employees in an efficient & compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll metrics – In partnership with Payroll team, develop metrics across weekly & monthly cycles to aid compliance/controls checks & to identify process continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Payroll processing – Become fully competent as back up to primary processors for weekly & monthly payroll. Note in some instances, you may need to step into run these processes for several months to cover leaves.
  • Analytic support to R&D Tax Credit & IDA Grant claims: Support claims by gathering payroll information & back-up. Support analysis on wider expense sections of the claims.
  • Analytical support to Finance Team.

Qualifications/Experience
  • Ipass qualification.
  • PeopleXD and Kronos experience an advantage.
  • Advanced excel skills with willingness to continue advance skills in this area.
  • Bachelor’s Degree HETAC Level 7 in relevant area.
  • Accounting experience desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
