Job Description
Quality Engineer - Moulding:
Due to continued expansion of their operations my client now require a Quality Engineer ?Moulding to join their quality team.
The successful candidate will be part of the core quality team and report directly to the Quality Manager. My client are an Injection Moulding company who are specialists in injection moulding, assembly and finishing of mainly plastic based products and work alongside some of the leading Medical Device companies in Ireland including their R&D departments on the design and development of products.
This is a permanent position, with a competitive salary and excellent progression possibilities based in West Galway.

Responsibilities of Quality Engineer - Moulding:
? Process Auditing & ensuring process controls are in place and effective
? Lead Quality improvement projects
? Ensure compliance with ISO 13485/ ISO 9001 requirements
? Issuing of certification documentation to customers when required
? Provide guidance on quality procedures to operators
? Product inspection / evaluation
? Management of customer complaints process, carrying out failure mode analysis and implementing required CAPAs relating to complaints or other internal issues
? Handling supplier quality issues
? Communication to operators/ supervisors/engineering on quality issues
? Carry out regular product inspections on production floor ensuring that defective products do not reach the customer and relevant CAPAs are carried out in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities of Quality Engineer - Moulding:
? Minimum of 3 years? Experience in a similar manufacturing or quality environment would be a strong advantage.
? Experience of Moulding is a distinct advantage
? Ability to work on projects within a team environment.
? Experience in using mechanical inspection equipment is an advantage
