This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of highly successful Irish pharmaceutical industry executives in a venture focused on US / ROW specialty markets.
The company is led by a management team who have a long and highly successful track record of success in establishing and building entrepreneurial driven pharmaceutical businesses. The company markets a portfolio of innovative and successful prescription products through its commercial infrastructure in both the USA and ROW.
Its dual strategy is to combine the acquisition of marketed products and late stage development projects along with development of line extensions of its existing portfolio. It seeks to selectively in-license or acquire FDA approved and late-stage development pharmaceutical products in focused therapeutic areas.
Ambitious expansion plans have led to the establishment of this newly created permanent based position. This opportunity offers a rare chance for the successful applicant to make a major contribution in establishing and delivering global Supply Chain strategy. The successful candidate acts as the primary contact for CMO planning for product inquiry, shipments, scheduling, launching and transactional activities.
Responsibilities of Supply Chain Manager
Perform forecast variability analysis and communicate/escalate any significant forecast changes as necessary.
Proactively aiding with mitigation of Back Order and Anticipated Back Orders with the relevant CMO.
Reporting of Supply Chain metrics to CMO & Virtual team with summarized root cause analysis.
Communication of forecast to CMO in compliance with the contractual obligations. Support any related queries from CMO.
Communication of any inventory risks to inventory control and finance teams.
For finished goods, support Supply Chain with new SKU introduction to meet market requirements.
Coordinate gathering of required information for Market Action Fact Finding meetings and representing Supply Chain at the necessary meetings as required.
Support the Projection and Budget processes.
Support supply chain improvement projects with CMO & Virtual team.
Represent Supply Chain Virtual team at cross functional meetings as required.
Person Spec
Candidates will be degree qualified in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering.
6 + years? experience in Supply Chain, the majority of which in the Pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge of end to end processes in forecasting, product planning, product launching, order fulfillment and procurement, and artwork management.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence planning decisions at CMO?s
Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Project software required
Knowledge of customer service standards, order processing and invoicing.
This position will involve 20-30% international travel.
