Our client is a young highly ambitious pioneering medical devices company committed to the development of novel technologies with the support of a strong group of medical investors.
With almost 10 years standing in medical devices industry, our client commands an advantageous position of having commercial product across a range of key global markets, generating a substantial and fast growing revenue stream. They are now in the process of gaining FDA approval.
In response to manufacturing requirements for their leading marketed technology, our client now seeks to appoint a Director for their new Manufacturing function, which will be headquartered in Dublin, Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a global manufacturing strategy in line with the corporate business plan. assist with infrastructure and tools to help establish their business in Ireland, while working with product development and Quality experts & authorities. This role will manage contract manufacturing partners and global supply chain logistics.
? Preferred candidates will be educated to Bachelor?s Degree at minimum.
? Ideally candidates will have 12+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience in the medical devices or related industry, including management experience working with external manufacturing partners.
? Expert knowledge in working with Product Development and Quality experts pre-FDA approval to build and improve manufacturability, imposing design control standards and driving process improvements.
? Experienced in bringing through external manufacturers, in addition to managing global supply chain logistics.
? Candidate will be a superb communicator of technical and scientific information and possess excellent interpersonal skills & strong organization skills.
? Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, including; Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement / Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Regulatory bodies, etc.
