required to provides daily support for NPIs into manufacturing for our client in Galway.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in working on new product introduction projects, involving; line transfers, necessary validations, improving manufacturing yields, reducing scrap and process improvements.
These are additional roles, with initial 12 month contract duration that should progress to permanency.
Responsibilities for NPI Manufacturing Engineer:
Actively participate in departmental and plant Continuous Improvement Projects as well as departmental standards etc.
Analyses operational, test and experimental data to establish performance standards for newly implemented or modified products / processes.
Troubleshoots new products / process working closely with product development.
Continually seeks to drive / improvements in process design, layout and operational performance.
Apply validation techniques and associated regulatory requirements.
Requirements for NPI Manufacturing Engineer:
Honours Bachelor?s Degree (HETAC Level 8) qualified, ideally in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
4+ years? experience in a relevant manufacturing area.
Proven equipment experience is an advantage.
Excellent technical capabilities, communication skills, teamwork abilities and initiative.
Medical Device experience an advantage.
