Project Management Manager, Tech Ops  – Dublin Pharma

This is a newly created position with a young exciting fast growing Dublin based pharma.

Job Spec :

The Manager/Sr. Manager, Project Management, Technical Operations, will provide project management expertise as a member of the project management team within Technical Operations.  The incumbent will be part of global, cross-functional teams supporting development and commercial projects. The incumbent will work closely with the Technical Project Leads to ensure successful completion of the project deliverables. In addition, the incumbent will participate in ongoing project management process administration and improvements with Technical Operations.

Essential Functions

Manage assigned projects and teams in coordination with the Technical Lead

Facilitate team meetings including setting agendas and providing meeting minutes Work with the project teams to develop and track goals, project plans, timelines and budgets

Identify project risks and prepare mitigation and contingency plans

Facilitate issue resolution in a timely manner

Manage budget processes for assigned projects including detailed reporting

Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project deliverables and milestones

Create and maintain consistent project documentation

Drive action item follow-up

Identify and implement improvements to project management processes and infrastructure

Person Spec :

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering with experience in project management

Pharma experience preferred

Ability to exercise initiative and creativity in resolving project management related issues

Experience managing project/program budgets and working with Finance/Accounting with detailed reporting

Ability to manage project work plans, documentation and action item follow-up

Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities under tight deadlines

Strong and proactive team player with good interpersonal skills

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with MS Office (e.g. Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering with experience in project management

PMP certification preferred
