Our client, a multinational pharmaceutical manufacturing, now wishes to recruit a Senior Production Supervisor who will to lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure delivery of the commercial product portfolio to company KPIs and regulatory requirements in their cGMP manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will provide direct leadership and management of production area to ensure that all company KPIs and regulatory requirements are effectively adhered, in the timely execution of the production schedule.
This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract role with view to extension / permanency, as per business needs.
Responsibilities for Senior Production Supervisor, Pharma:
Lead continuous improvement and innovation in line with lean thinking and process excellence to ensure process robustness, process understanding and continuity of supply to the customer.
Coach and mentor the shift team with a view to developing their skills and optimising performance and proactively utilise available tools to support people management.
Liaise with Supply Chain, Engineering, Validation and Quality groups to ensure customer service requirements are met.
Initiation, progression and completion of Product Process Investigations. Review and completion of documentation to meet business needs.
Direct the efforts of staff in compliance with all regulatory requirements, cGMP, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and guidelines.
Ensure that operations are run in a cost effective manner in line with budgetary objectives.
Support, plan and manage the scale up and skill acquisition processes to support successful new product launches and technical transfers.
Requirements for Senior Production Supervisor, Pharma:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science/related discipline.
5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical or related GMP operations environment
3+ years supervisory/ people management experience, ideally in matrix organisation.
Proven experience in delivering process improvements through lean manufacturing concepts, into production environment.
Proven ability to build relationships within and across groups using effective influencing and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Proven track record in your current role is essential.
