required to manage all Quality Supplier issues, communicating issues to suppliers and work with Supplier Quality Group to drive improvement and corrective action in the quality of components sourced from outside suppliers, within an FDA regulated manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will review design specifications and provides input from Quality and manufacturability perspective, while also investigating field failures related to supplier materials.
The ideal candidate will create product specifications, quality specifications, quality plans, risk analysis, FMEAs in conjunction with other product development team members on risk management process and elimination of such.
This is a permanent role based in Munster region.
Requirements for Senior Quality Engineer:
Honours Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.
5+ years' experience in a Quality role within manufacturing environment, preferably GMP regulated.
Ideally 2+ years' supervisory experience or project management experience in Quality role within manufacturing environment.
Strong Project Management skills combined with proven consistent execution within committed quality, time and cost targets.
Experience with problem solving and process improvement methodologies, e.g. Six Sigma, etc. is desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
