Due to continued expansion of their operations our client a well-established Multinational Healthcare Manufacturer now require a qualified and experienced Technical Writer.
The Technical Writer will work within a team to deliver updated documentation and labelling designs as part of updates to current products and regulatory requirements. The Technical Writer will work under limited supervision and report into the Engineering Manager.
This is an initial 12 month contract role based in The Midlands with excellent progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities of Technical Writer.
? Create / Modify Technical Bulletins, IFUs, Label Designs and Product User guides for each product and accessory
? Liaise with Local & Divisional Regulatory Function to implement required Label & IFU changes.
? Own and release documentation changes through the change control process
? Revision control & release through the Agile and E.R.P (Oracle) systems
? Liaise with translation houses on documentation translation requirements
Requirements of the Technical Writer
? 1 years? experience working in a Medical Device or similar industry with Packaging experience being advantageous but not a requirement.
? Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (including Illustrator, Framemaker and InDesign)
? Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
? Experienced in Label Creation (experience in using Bartender Software)
? Knowledge of ISO/Medical device standards
