€28M programme unites universities, charities and industry to deliver next generation cancer care.

Minister Lawless launches Precision Oncology Ireland, Phase 2 (POI-2) during the 24thAnnual International Conference on Systems Biology.

Phase 2 represents double the investment, scale and ambition for the POI programme, following five years of impact from this unique strategic partnership.

Today (8thOctober), Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, James Lawless TD, launched Phase 2 of Ireland’s leading and largest ever cancer research programme, Precision Oncology Ireland (POI).

POI is a cancer research consortium dedicated to advancing personalised cancer research and care. Its mission is to develop tailored diagnostic and therapeutic solutions using cutting-edge technologies and data, ensuring every patient receives the right treatment at the right time.
