Recent executive search assignments include a wide range of senior management appointments up to Board level, across drug development, technical operations and manufacturing, supply chain, Quality and regulatory affairs, and finance.
In research commercialisation, high profile appointments incoude Director of the Central Technology Transfer Office, and Divisional manager for Research and Innovation Commercialisation in Enterprise Ireland. Gerry has also recruited staff for many Irish universities, including executives for NovaUCD, UL and NUIG. He has also been involved in national surveys of technical skill requirements in various bio ‐sectors, including a Survey of Technical Skills in diagnostics companies (2005‐2010).
Prior to involvement of recruitment, Gerry has had a successful career in leadership roles in the Pharma and Chemical industry as commercial manager for DuPont Merck Pharma in UK & Ireland (1980 ‐1994) and as the founder of the specialist chemical company Gait International in 1994.
