Job Description
Our client, a World Class Health-tech development and manufacturing company, now seeks a Business Excellence Manager who will champion, lead, promote, facilitate and mentor Lean / Continuous Improvement / Excellence culture across the business, includes operations and supporting services on site. This is a permanent role based in Connacht, working in a hybrid work model.
In line with company strategy, the successful candidate will embed a culture of continuous improvement on site through a focus on Production Unit Excellence, Business Service Excellence, Continuous Improvement Reviews, Strategic thinking and a mindset that there are always opportunities to improve Culture.
This hire will be Site Lead for Lean / Business / Operational Excellence strategy in efforts to drive impactful improvement projects, developing road maps with business partners with milestones and that a quarterly process is in place to communicate progress to all stakeholders.
This is a key role for embedding our behavioural standards on site and assisting with the high-performance leader training.

Requirements for Business Excellence Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Engineering field. Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years’ experience in an operations / manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years’ experience in leadership capacity, involving systems thinking and execution.
- Track record of devising or implementing strategic initiatives relating to operational excellence / business process improvements / continuous / process improvements and/or cost savings within the manufacturing industry.
- Formal Project management training and history of leading cross functional projects preferred.
