Job Description
We currently seek an experienced Business Process Analyst to join the Business Systems Team on a permanent basis with our client in Galway. The Business systems team supports core systems for the Site (SAP, Rapid Response), provides Business Intelligence reporting and Master data governance.
The successful candidate will provide SAP Support to all functions on site, and support the design, test and rollout of new solutions to meet business requirements. In doing so, this hire will manage project execution from concept to completion, while liaising between corporate SAP team and local departments, and communicating to site relevant SAP updates.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Systems Support, problem solving, data analysis and optimising business processes. There are excellent opportunities in upcoming projects to transform current business processes including supporting the design, testing, and rollout of SAP Hana.
Responsibilities for Business Process Analyst, SAP:
Provide SAP end User Support, troubleshoot issues and handle ad-hoc queries requested from business users.
Support site readiness activities for SAP Upgrades, including Execution and documentation of User Acceptance Testing for SAP Upgrades.
Works with other team members to formulate test strategy and plans. Defines testable requirements, creates test plans, authors and executes test scripts.
Work with the business and the IT teams on the implementation of SAP S4 HANA
SAP Continuous improvement – support implementation of new IS systems/ support business functions.
Creates and updates procedures and training material for user assistance and system usage.
Attend Functional Review Boards for Finance and Supply Chain to review upcoming changes.
Escalate issues to Global SAP support when required.
Work closely with internal customers and other stakeholders to understand business processes, gather and document project requirements.
Complete thorough testing of all new systems and system updates ensuring the quality and accuracy of Data.
Identify improvement opportunities for current processes and systems.
Analyses, specifies, designs, documents, tests and delivers business systems and Information System process solutions to meet business requirements in a production support.
Requirements for Business Process Analyst, SAP:
Honours Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Science or Engineering or related discipline.
3+ years business system / Intelligence experience, including; systems analysis / reporting / testing.
Experience in SAP support, issue resolution, testing, reporting or end user experience.
Good knowledge and understanding of Operations and/or Supply chain processes and linkage to SAP functionality.
Good knowledge of MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
Team player with good organisation / project Management / presentation skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Self-starter with strong, proactive work ethic.
