Business Systems Analyst, Supply Chain
Our client, a multinational company based in Galway, now seek a Business System Analyst who will work primarily with Supply Chain department and also global teams, providing Business Intelligence reporting and Master data governance. This is a permanent role based in Galway.

The successful candidate will have a strong problem solving abilities, and significant experience in data analysis and optimising business processes. This role will project manage a number of process improvement / reengineering projects.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the systems and process in the manufacturing environment, and enhancements of local systems.

There are excellent opportunities in upcoming projects to transform current business reporting, SAP HANA implementation & continued Rapid Response rollout.

Requirements for Business Systems Analyst:
Honours Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Science or Engineering or related discipline.
3+ years business system / Intelligence experience, including; systems analysis\reporting\testing.
Excellent understanding of Business Processes and best practices in a regulated environment.
Experience of the software development lifecycle and methodologies.
Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements.
Strong proficiency with analytical tools such as Excel, Access, programming, or statistics programs.
Qlikview\Qliksense, Tableau, Power BI or other Business Intelligence platform experience.
Proficiency in SQL with knowledge of database concepts, querying, design, integration and ability to analyze large datasets efficiently.
Experience in SAP or Rapid Response would be very beneficial
Experience of Materials Requirements Planning and Domain knowledge of Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing or Supply chain.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail & data accuracy.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to present results of complex analysis clearly and effectively to a wide range of stakeholders.
Self-starter with strong, proactive work ethic.
