Clinical Scientist Intern
Our client, a drug discovery and development pharmaceutical company, now have a vacancy for Clinical Scientist intern to join their R&D team in the Dublin office.

The successful candidate will support the team in delivering on preclinical and clinical studies including interacting with global outsourced CROs over a number of therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities for Clinical Scientist Intern:
Detailed statistical analysis and review of all preclinical and clinical study results and presenting such data to the internal management team.
Interacting with different aspects of the team including Regulatory, QA, CMC and Clinical.
Delivering all tasks and projects in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements for Clinical Scientist Intern:
PhD in Life Science discipline. Post Doctorate experience is preferred.
Experience with Animal Modelling, GLP Animal Studies, or similar studies related to clinical / drug development.
Ideally some experience or understanding of Preclinical Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics.
An understanding of clinical statistics is an advantage. Post Graduate course in statistics is desirable.
Flair for scientific writing (protocols and reports) and be fully conversant with the use of EDC in clinical trials.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Broad background therapeutic knowledge for drug discovery or drug development purposes.
International and domestic travel may be required.
