Responsibilities

· Network Supply Planning: lead a team of managers to develop and maintain the end-to-end Network Supply Plans for the assigned Alkermes products 

· Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): lead the monthly S&OP Supply Planning process, including the Monthly Supply Review meeting. 

· Inventory Management: ensure risk-based inventory management strategies are defined, justified, and endorsed for materials and implemented across the nodes of the end-to-end network

· Scenario Planning: prepares strategic ‘what-if’ product scenario analysis to proactively identify risks and opportunities – confirms manufacturing and supply plans are aligned to commercial demand, inventory strategy, sourcing strategy and other requirements.

· Systems: develop, maintain and improve planning systems for current and future commercial products, working closely with Quality, Finance and Business Process Excellence functions to ensure transaction controls and compliance are met.

· Annual Long-Range Planning: coordinate development of the 5-Year Units plan for all products assigned as well as management level reporting for the exercise to support product network strategy and life-cycle management. 

· Operations:

· Supply: develop, maintain, and improve processes to assure timely delivery of materials including Raw Materials, Excipients, API, Drug Product, Packaging Components and Finished Goods in accordance with Commercial requirements.

· Supplier Relationship Management: responsible to ensure full supply chain support for the SRM program to ensure execution of the Network Supply Plan at internal and external suppliers

· Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE): lead for Supply Chain within the External Operations S&OE and/or Operations S&OE processes as required. 

· Performance Management: responsible for supply chain KPI’s reporting, analysis and improvement for the products assigned. Supports achievement of operational key performance targets. Responsible to drive improvements in supply chain KPI systems and reporting

· Budget: lead budget and quarterly Flash update processes for Commercial Supply Chain 

· Purchasing: execute the purchasing function for External Operations in line with department procedures and procurement policies

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a related field and 12+ years’ work experience, or a Masters in a Supply Chain or Business related field and 9+ years’ work experience.
