Job Description
Primary Objective/ Purpose of Position:
The role will be within the Consolidation & Reporting team, which is responsible for the group consolidation, external reporting, monthly management accounts, key management reports and financial analysis.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare timely and accurate consolidated management accounts (including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash flow statement and analysis) on a monthly basis
- Prepare annual and quarterly financial statements and supporting disclosure schedules in accordance with US GAAP for external reporting on Form 10-Q and Form 10-K
- Review of monthly group reporting packs from operational sites and liaise with sites to understand key accounting items/variances
- Support preparation of external reporting documents and SEC filings, including XBRL
- Liaise with external auditors in relation to consolidated external reporting as required
- Work individually and as part of a team to generate efficiency in the use of finance-related IT systems, utilising the ERP and consolidation systems to their full potential
- Maintain a thorough understanding of GAAP reporting and other disclosure requirements and assist in accounting research related to new and existing accounting pronouncements
- Assist with preparation of consolidated IFRS financial statements
- Maintain SOX process and control documentation, ensuring the proper design and execution of internal controls
- Other ad hoc duties/projects as may arise
Required experience and qualifications:
- Big 4 accounting firm training and ACA qualification required, experience working on listed clients and/or consolidations strongly preferred
- 1-2 years of post-qualification relevant work experience
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, SOX and financial reporting
- Proficiency in use of MS Excel and Word an advantage
- Ability to organize work effectively and meet deadlines

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
