International Business Development and Sales Manager
Our client, an established medical / healthcare company with European HQ based in Ireland, are currently undergoing a major growth in its international business, based on current finished sterile injectable products and drug substances.

Their highly ambitious executive management recognise the potential of these products and intend to accelerate growth further with the appointment of a talented International Business Development & Sales Manager. Implementation of strategies that improves product awareness, market share, and profitability are of key importance in this role.

The person in this critical position will lead International global marketing development across whole range of sterile injectable finished products, providing technical expertise, and manage commercial development towards a network of distributors on some European, African, Middle East, South America and Asian territories.

This person will lead Business Development activities through partner interactions with distributors into hospitals and associated networks, presenting product opportunities, leading contract negotiations, identifying and detailing opportunities to potential partners, acting as the company's liaison with the partner, and managing the relationship post transaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the identification, evaluation, and development of prospects for business development, of products and technologies.
Strong focus on selling company products and capabilities to potential distributors.
Develop proposals and term sheets for prospects and manage the day-to-day aspects of closing, including the utilization of legal counsel, and coordination with supply chain, marketing, regulatory, manufacturing, and product development functions.
Perform market research, analyze new market opportunities, assess financial and strategic value to company, and recommend opportunities that will grow business.
Participate in the development of strategic partnerships, joint ventures and alliances, with distributor opportunities globally.

Person Spec
Degree qualifications and extensive international experience in business development, market planning and competitive intelligence, and project management within healthcare, pharmaceutical industry, namely Injectable Sterile products.
Proven record in negotiating transactions/licensing agreements in the medical / healthcare or similar industry, including deal origination, analysis and evaluation, structure, execution, and post-deal management.
Strong negotiation skills.
Knowledgeable on intellectual property and related transaction matters.
Ability to successfully manage both client and internal relationships required to execute licensing transactions.
Proven record in identifying licensing opportunities.
Strong network of key decision makers throughout the medical / healthcare or similar industry, globally.
Entrepreneurial spirit when prospecting for new clients.
Willingness to travel extensively internationally, as and when required.
