Lead Facilities Engineer
Due to expansion and new build plans to support increased manufacturing on site, our client now has approval for a leader within Facilities Engineering team, managing interactions between consultants/ contractors and the company across the site ensuring project deliverables in GMP regulated environment.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership on facilities projects from scope, design, and installation to commissioning and validating rooms/labs and utility equipment. 

This role requires a candidate with depth of Facilities Engineering experience working in GMP regulated environment, with proven management experience of contractor groups on site and working with internal stakeholders on delivery of key projects across the site.

Responsibilities:
Lead interactions with facilities design, with oversight of design review, value engineering, and construction management as required.
Prepare and take ownership of project budgets and forecasts and issue scheduled status reports.
Build strong relationships with all stakeholders internally (i.e. finance, supply chain, engineering and operations) and externally (i.e., Vendors, Contractors & BIM Design).
Undertake risk analysis on schedule delivery and priorities & provide solutions.
Manage validation protocols for the handover of building/plant, including updating maintenance procedures and routines for main plant and utilities.
Ensure that all drawings are current and provide a proper handover of these drawings at the end of the project, along with the technical files and commissioning reports.
Support the Environmental Management System through responsibility for items of civil/mechanical construction/services/contracts; provision and distribution of utilities to achieve Carbon Neutrality.
Lead coaching, support and motivation to team members reporting to you and support their development.
Perform safety audits and inspections, conducting safety-related training, and maintaining ongoing communications with employees.

Requirements:
Honours Bachelors Degree in a related qualification in Engineering.
Certified Facilities Management (CFM) and/or project management (PMP) are preferred.
5+ years facilities engineering experience and track record on Cleanroom Construction projects.
Introduction of systems through effective organisational change management.
Proven track record in continuous improvement and problem-solving.
Experience working with outside vendors and subcontractors.
Experienced with FDA/ISO standards, and application to all facility items such as cleanrooms, air/nitrogen supply, product contact water etc. in compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & 50001 systems.
Effective communicator, with strong stakeholder management skills.
Exceptional customer service, relationship building and communication skills.
