Mechanical Fitter- Permanent - Dublin

My client a start-up Healthcare Manufacturing company now require a Mechanical Fitter to join their expanding team.

The start-up phase will be a challenging and rewarding time for the successful candidate. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for processing and maintenance duties on a fully automated filling and packaging line in a regulated environment. The successful candidates will also have responsibilities for utilities maintenance in conjunction with service providers.

This is a permanent role based in Dublin and it comes with a very good salary with good benefits.

Responsibilities of Mechanical Fitter

Carry out filling / packaging activities and ensure that all activities are performed to cGMP standard.
General maintenance of the processing line and utilities in conjunction with contract specialist service providers
Ensure that classified areas and its environment are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness in line with cGMP.
Support and work proactively with all members of the production business unit in maximizing performance
Focus on delivering continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime and improve performance
Implement continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain and complete all company documentation to the highest cGMP standard accurately and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with cGMP, Health & Safety, environmental and company standards. Environmental Monitoring of classified areas.
Audit preparation & Participation

Requirements of Mechanical Fitter

Minimum of 2 years' experience within a regulated Pharmaceutical / Medical Device clean room environment ideally with previous process support experience within an aseptic fill environment
Junior / Senior Trade qualified fitter or Mechatronics technician desirable.
Experience in equipment installation desirable
Experience in Commissioning & Validation desirable
Knowledge or Experience with vision systems and PLC control systems desirable.
Experience in Commissioning & Validation desirable.
