Manufacturing Operations Manager, Dublin
Our client, a large manufacturing healthcare manufacturing company based in Dublin, now seeks an experienced Operations Manager due the increased volume of manufacturing in their high volume, fast paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will take ownership of end to end manufacturing processes, providing team leadership of the Manufacturing Operations group committed to increased quality and productivity for global markets.

The ideal candidate will have strong people management and proven ability to develop the team to achieve change.

Responsibilities of Manufacturing Operations Manager:
Oversee daily productivity, ensuring on time delivery, cost effective delivery of the production schedule.
Monitor, track and improve daily, weekly and quarterly production KPIs.
Ensure quality metrics are achieved and quality standards are clear, understood and maintained.
Actively manage projects to drive culture of innovation and continuous improvement through the department, to deliver year on year efficiency improvements
Lead the function and direct reports to ensure we have a highly effective workforce who are aligned to the company goals.
Manage development and training of the team to ensure employees are highly skilled and achieving their potential.
Communicate effectively across the department and across functions.
Ensure employees are informed, engage and are clear on the company’s strategy, goals and objectives.
Set the operational plan for department and manage effectively delivery of this.
Ensure resource, capital and manpower plans are in place for future growth
Manage and control to ensure company goals are achieved.
Interface with Design, Quality, Assembly & Testing and Sales functions to ensure production lead times and quality standards are met.

Requirements for Manufacturing Operations Manager
Third Level Qualifications in Engineering, Science, or similar technical discipline.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is highly desirable.
Proven experience in working within a similar role in a fast paced manufacturing operations environment, ideally a GMP environment.
Track record as a Manufacturing Operations Manager, ideally with an engineering related industry.
Track record of leading and developing large teams, with the ability to engage, motivate and enable others.
Proven track record of delivering improvement projects i.e. proven results in Continuous improvement.
Excellent communication skills.
