Job Description
Our client, a multinational healthcare manufacturing company based in Cork, now wish to appoint a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will provide engineering support to both maintenance and manufacturing operation ensuring site reliability & mechanical engineering are to World Class Manufacturing standards and capabilities.
The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will;
Lead Maintenance program for manufacturing operations, ensuring the maintenance procedures are appropriate and audit ready at all times
Ensure Job Plans, datasheets and the computerised maintenance management systems are appropriate and audit ready at all times
Provide technical leadership and progress improvement opportunities
Direct project engineering to ensure consistency with current practice and standards
Main point of contact for capital projects on site.
Requirements for Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
Honours Engineering Degree (level 8) with a minimium of 5 years' experience in a similar role in FDA regulated cGMP manufacturing environment..
Proven technical skills in reliability & mechanical engineering, ideally in conjunction with development, operations, regulatory and quality systems.
Ideally the candidate will have strong communication skills - oral and written, with proven ability to write technical reports and be an advocate for teamwork.
Experience of working with CAPAs and CMMS systems is highly desirable
Project management skills, with proven ability to influence and to lead change.
Aptitude and interest for problem-solving.
