Job Description
Our client, a young and fast growing innovative drug discovery and development company based in Dublin, with novel platform technology which provides innovative solutions to help treat people with unmet needs, now seek to expand their team with the addition of a Molecular Biology Lab Scientist.
The successful candidate will be working with a team producing, purifying and characterising bioactive peptides in a complex laboratory.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Molecular Biologist in analysis and testing techniques, cell cultures and bioactivity testing within a commercial organisation / GLP and GMP industry.
Person fit: self-starter with an ability to think and change in an evolving, diverse and innovative company.
Requirements for Molecular Biologist, Lab Scientist:
MSc in Biology, Microbiology or related field (Minimum).
4-5 years of previous experience is required in a similar Molecular Biology or Lab Scientist.
Method development/validation, toxicity testing, etc.
Routine maintenance of human and animal cell lines.
Experienced in analysis through dose response curves, ELISA, colorimetric assays, etc.
Project management and reporting.
Key competencies:
Demonstrated capability in project management & building relationships.
Possess excellent communication skills, with scientists and non-scientists.
A team player with strong influencing skills.
