Job Description
Our client, a World Class Medtech company based in Galway, now seek an experienced NPD Global Program Manager who will lead multiple projects and associated teams, working cross-functionally with local and global stakeholders to manage projects through product development to product launch. This is a hybrid role, requiring presence on Galway site two days per week.
The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams and manages multiple projects from small to large scope, including schedule, scope, costs and resources ensuring projects are on time and reporting progress to global leadership team.
The ideal candidate with be an experienced Program Management Professional in managing multiple projects though various phases of new product development process, with proven ability to foster and maintains strong relationships with functional heads, in conjunction with developing cohesive and collaborative cross-functional teams. Proven experience in driving success of projects throughout project lifecycle phases in Medtech / Combination products is required.
Responsibilities for NPD Global Program Manager:
Strong experience in project managing significant new product activities that require collaboration with R&D, Program Management, Regulatory, Quality, Process Development, Engineering and Operations.
Proven leadership skills in change management and project management.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communications to project team and all stakeholders
Must have proven skills in people management, collaboration, influencing and team building.
Must be proficient with MS Project.
Requirements for NPD Global Program Manager:
Honours Bachelors Degree (Level 8) in Engineering, Science, Software, Manufacturing or similar technical discipline.
Qualification in Project Management and/or an additional Masters (Level 9) would be an advantage.
10+ years manufacturing industry experience ideally in GMP environment, 5+ years of which project management/operations/new product development experience.
Experience with new product development in Medtech industry is an advantage.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple vendors on timelines, budgets, etc.
Effective communication skills in cross-functional environment.
Project Management certification is preferred.
MS Office experience is preferred.
