NPI Project Engineer
Our client, a Medtech company based in Galway, currently seeks an experience NPI Project Engineer to manage New Product Introductions from development or through acquisitions into commercial manufacture within a world class medical devices manufacturer.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record successfully managing tech transfers from a technical perspective and also applying project management tools, in keeping project on time and budget. Strong stakeholder management experience and technical expertise in associated validations is required.

This hire will provide professional and technical leadership to manufacturing team on product and process issues aiding this transition.

The ideal candidate with have strong technical hands experience in regulated manufacturing environment and also proven project management experience.

Responsibilities of NPI Project Engineer:
Manage and co-ordinate technical support for the introduction of new products, in line with marketing plans.
Develop resource allocation and a critical path so as to effectively manage the introduction of technology on lines, modifications and process improvements.
Develop manufacturing technical capabilities and skills so as to ensure ongoing process requirements can be effectively achieved.
Actively contribute to the enhancement of compliance initiatives for areas of responsibility.
Develop strong links with our sister plants so as to ensure effective ongoing transfer and sharing of products, processes and systems.

Requirements for NPI Project Engineer:
Honours Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science discipline
3+ years' experience in similar engineering role in manufacturing industry.
Proven Project / Program Management experience, with technical capability to develop aspects of assigned projects on time and within budget.
Experience in problem solving and process improvement methodologies, ideally with structured analytical & problem solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good leadership abilities.
