IND Project Manager, Preclinical Oncology
Our client, a young entrepreneurial and highly innovative start-up Biotech company, focused on developing small molecule therapeutics, now seek an Preclinical Project Manager to manage in late Preclinical stage development and IND process of a oncology product.

The successful candidate will work on identifying and selection of suitable CRO(s), developing contract agreements and then providing oversight of all the responsibilities transferred by the development company to CROs and other vendors.

This hire will operate from Dublin ideally but working remotely / will be considered for the right candidate. Also, workload will determine whether this will be a full time or part time requirement.

Responsibilities for IND Project Manager, Preclinical Oncology:
Review existing IND plans, CRO quotations in relation to the company's lead program, recommending and changes or improvements as appropriate.
Engage with CROs for any clarifications, amendments to proposals, or identification of other CROs that a proposal should be sought from.
Contribute to ultimate selection of CROs including leading negotiations with CROs.
Contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of project timeline, which will focus primarily on our preclinical activities and IND enabling studies.
Track and maintain program progress and keep the internal and external teams informed the status of the projects.
Facilitate project team meeting internally and externally with collaborators.
Facilitate the communication between internal teams and external collaborators.
Write meeting reports and project progression reports.
Organize and document the project related materials.

Requirements for IND Project Manager, Preclinical Oncology:
Master of Science or Ph.D. Degree in relevant discipline is preferred.
Proven Biotech, drug discovery and development process, project management experience is required.
5+ years of experience in Preclinical and IND/CTA project management, ideally within the small molecule oncology setting.
Experience negotiating contracts with contract research organisations.
Strong organization skills and able to support multiple projects in a timely and organized manner.
Strong written and communication skills; and an ability to work effectively with a diverse team of co-workers in a dynamic environment.
Self-motivated, ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Solid computer proficiency including use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project.
