Production Manager
Our client a healthcare manufacturer now seeks a Production Manager who will support the Business Unit Manager in achieving their operational goals and objectives. This role is based in Connaught.
The successful candidate will lead the strategy, planning, and management of all aspects of operations within the Business Unit to ensure that cost, compliance and customer requirements are met.
The ideal candidate will have a people centred approach to their management style, while possessing drive, high energy and ability to work under pressure and deliver results
Responsibilities of Production Manager:
Manage the Unit's Business Support Groups to ensure the timely and appropriate availability of documentation, equipment, and related activities.
Organize and lead, as appropriate, cross-functional and departmental APEX, safety, QA, projects, etc. activities in an effort to improve efficiencies and effectiveness.

Line management of production supervisors and technical support staff as appropriate.
Develops direct reports through appropriate training, delegating challenging tasks, applying appropriate performance reviews.
Manage and motivate the employees through effective communication and use of Production Supervisors.

Participating in management activities within the operational groups and promotion of cross training between departments.
Assist with developing and managing the departmental budget to meet company objectives.
Establish appropriate KPl's and manage non-conforming KPl's.
Manage New Product Implementation.
Co-ordinate QMS Management.
Schedule and capacity management.
Representing the company at client and regulatory facing meetings and audits.
Ensuring all activities of the Business Unit are performed in accordance with GMP, relevant SOPs and policies.
Requirements for Production Manager:
Bachelor?s Degree in Science or Engineering discipline.
Proven track record in Pharma/Medical Devices/Food Operations Management, ideally experienced in working with FDA and EU authorities.
Strong experience in direct people management with proven relationship building / management experience.
Excellent communication and presentations skills, both written and oral.
Excellent analytical skills, with proven ability to plan and schedule.
Able to work in a fast, dynamic, environment whilst being able to adjust readily to meet unexpected constraints.
