Our client is a multinational biopharmaceutical company with an outstanding track record of innovation in their specialist therapeutic sector. This role is a unique opportunity at a development-stage company, with field-leading advisors, and a highly experienced technical/operational team. This role reports to the Senior Director of Project & Vendor Management. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Project Management team, supporting the preparation and maintenance of project documentation across the projects.

Job Spec
  • Preparation and Maintenance of Project plans and budgets
  • Compilation and updating of Project Risk logs and Issue logs
  • Project Management Process administration and improvements to the process as required
  • Create and maintain consistent project documentation including keeping project tackers up to date
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project deliverables and milestones
  • Work jointly with the Project Managers to manage assigned cross functional teams
  • Communicate project status to the Senior Project Managers
  • Facilitate team meetings including setting agendas, providing meeting minutes and drive action item follow-up
  • Management of vendor contracting
  • Assist with financial budgeting and forecasting
  • Assist with implementation of new IT systems

Person Spec:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering with experience in project management
  • Formal training in project management
  • Proven track record of success in Project Management
  • Pharmaceutical Development and or Technical Operations experience essential
  • Experience working with the quality systems associated with Medical devices or similar technologies is an advantage
  • Ability to exercise initiative and creativity in resolving project management related issues
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects including work plans, timelines, budgets and action item follow-up
  • Strong and proactive team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (e.g. Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with key stakeholders including external clients
