Our client is a multinational biopharmaceutical company with an outstanding track record of innovation in their specialist therapeutic sector. This role is a unique opportunity at a development-stage company, with field-leading advisors, and a highly experienced technical/operational team. This role reports to the Senior Director of Project & Vendor Management. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Project Management team, supporting the preparation and maintenance of project documentation across the projects.
Job Spec
- Preparation and Maintenance of Project plans and budgets
- Compilation and updating of Project Risk logs and Issue logs
- Project Management Process administration and improvements to the process as required
- Create and maintain consistent project documentation including keeping project tackers up to date
- Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project deliverables and milestones
- Work jointly with the Project Managers to manage assigned cross functional teams
- Communicate project status to the Senior Project Managers
- Facilitate team meetings including setting agendas, providing meeting minutes and drive action item follow-up
- Management of vendor contracting
- Assist with financial budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with implementation of new IT systems
Person Spec:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering with experience in project management
- Formal training in project management
- Proven track record of success in Project Management
- Pharmaceutical Development and or Technical Operations experience essential
- Experience working with the quality systems associated with Medical devices or similar technologies is an advantage
- Ability to exercise initiative and creativity in resolving project management related issues
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects including work plans, timelines, budgets and action item follow-up
- Strong and proactive team player with good interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (e.g. Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with key stakeholders including external clients
