QA Product Development Specialist
Our client based in Connacht, currently seek an experienced QA Product Development Specialist for their innovation hub, who will work as part of product development innovation team, including R&D team members; being a standard bearer for QA, leading QA projects tasks and associated junior members.
The successful candidate will work on project design plans, test method development, risk management and risk mitigation, design verification/validation protocols and reports, statistical techniques and associated regulatory requirements as part of work; for new development projects within development.
This is an autonomous role and will suit someone who is comfortable working independently, who is self-motivated and who has strong influencing skills as an advocate for QA within a innovation hub.
Requirements for QA Product Development Specialist:
Bachelors Degree in Science, Biomedical, Engineering or equivalent discipline.
4+ years’ experience in a similar role in pharma, biopharma, medical device or diagnostics industries.
Experience working with the quality systems associated with drug development / medical devices development or similar technology development is preferred.
Experience in complaints / post marketing support, risk management, design and process change, and standards compliance to EU MDR or ISO 13485 or FDA is highly desired.
Solution orientated individual with structured problem-solving, statistical analysis approach.
Ability to lead teams and influence at all levels within R&D / innovation environment.
Proven ability to mentor, coach and develop junior team members.
Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
