Job Description
Due to continued expansion of their operations our client a well-established and growing Warehousing and Distribution Company now seek a Quality Manager.
The Quality Manager will demonstrate proficiency communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels and across divisions. In addition the candidate will have proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs, as well as demonstrated problem solving and project management ability.
This is a permanent role in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities of Quality Manager:
? Management of Quality Systems including but not limited to Change Controls, Deviations, CAPAs, Document Management and Complaints.
? Responsible for ensuring compliance of the Site Quality Management System while driving a process of continuous improvement
? Ensure tracking of the Quality Management System performance by providing oversight and the tracking and use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
? Assessment of performance indicators that can be used to monitor the effectiveness of processes within the Quality Management system
? Preparation for and participation in both customer and regulatory inspections, including post inspection follow up across all locations
? Strong leadership skills to lead, guide and motivate our quality team to drive continuous improvement
? Liaise with cross functional departments to ensure all quality standards are adhered to
? Liaise and co-operate with all regulatory bodies on behalf of the company
? Preparation and approval of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Technical Quality Agreements
? To ensure that the company is kept aware of legislative & customer constraints on the business and that defined standards of quality control and assurance are adhered to
? Liaising with customers and suppliers on quality, technical & environmental concerns
Requirements of the Quality Manager:
? Educated to degree or equivalent in a Quality or Scientific discipline
? Excellent knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice(GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
? Knowledge of HACCP desirable
? Demonstrated track record in previous Quality role of a least 5 years
? GDP and highly regulated environment
? Excellent technical ability and strong attention to detail required
? Experience with ISO:9001
? Ability to travel across locations ? once a week outside Dublin
