R&D QA Senior Technical Specialist
Our client based in Connacht, currently seek an experienced R&D QA Technical Specialist for their innovation hub, who will work as a QA SME in product development ensuring Quality oversight and delivery in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
This role is a unique opportunity at a development-stage company, with opportunity to work with field-leading advisors, physicians and a highly experienced technical R&D team developing product from concept through defined process to commercialisation.
This hire will participate in product development innovation along with R&D team members who are not function specific; being a standard bearer for QA, leading QA projects tasks and associated junior members.
The successful candidate will be involved in project design plans, test method development, risk management and risk mitigation, design verification/validation protocols and reports, statistical techniques and associated regulatory requirements as part of work; for new development projects within development.
This is an autonomous role and will suit someone who is comfortable working independently, who is self-motivated and who has strong influencing skills as an advocate for QA within a innovation hub.
Requirements for R&D QA Senior Technical Specialist:
Bachelors Degree in Science, Biomedical, Engineering or equivalent discipline.
4+ years experience in a similar role in pharma, biopharma, medical device or diagnostics industries.
Experience working with the quality systems associated with drug development / medical devices development or similar technology development is preferred.
Solution orientated individual with structured problem solving approach.
Ability to lead teams and influence at all levels within R&D / innovation environment.
Ability to interact with key stakeholders including external clients.
Proven ability to mentor, coach and develop junior team members.
Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
