Supply Chain Planner, Pharma
Our client, a blue-chip multinational biopharma company based in Dublin, now seeks a Supply Chain Planner within its Supply Chain team. This role will be responsible for Customer Relationship Management activities for designated markets integrating Strategies between Markets and CMOs.
The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for customer supply issues and will be able to perform in a fast paced, changing, highly regulated, and demanding environment.
This is a 12 month contract role with potential to go permanent.
Responsibilities for Supply Chain Planner, Pharma:
Ensuring Customer Service Levels for products in scope of responsibility are achieved, management of inventory in scope to ensure target inventory turns are achieved and ensuring NPI metrics are achieved on time every time.
Interact directly with CMO site planners and Supplier Relationship Managers (SRM) to ensure that adequate production capacity is in place to meet market demands.
Interface with Quality, MS&T, SRM & Procurement to support resolution of any supply risks that may arise and manage product source change, launch, discontinuation of products and artworks changes in general, in liaison with Regulatory, Business Units leads, Brand Leaders, Finance leads at market.
Review of all forecast carryovers and market inventories and managing deviation of demand from forecasts accordingly in addition to generating working capital efficiencies through optimization of safety stock levels.
The role will also communicate on a regular basis across departments in third party manufacturing and our CMOs.
Requirements for Supply Chain Planner, Pharma:
Bachelor?s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Studies, or similar discipline.
APICS qualification and Project Management certification are also highly desired.
5+ years? experience in master scheduling, forecasting and customer service, project management, and/or inventory management is required.
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and ideally SAP, in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Understanding of the different types of regulatory and labelling changes that can occur and the associated implications is a critical competency.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to prioritise, organise and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and organizations
