Our client, a world class manufacturing company, now seeks an ambitious, articulate and highly technical Senior Engineer is keen to develop into an Engineering Manager within a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
The successful candidate will lead the manufacturing team, driving their development and ensuring strategic goals are met within the manufacturing organisation.
This hire?s highly technical team will optimize existing processes, maximizing equipment, machines and tools performance and corrects equipment problems or process parameters that produce non-conforming products, low yields or product quality issues.
This cross functional role will require interfacing with other groups, both internally and externally, and making presentations to senior management and directors of the company.
Requirements for Senior Manufacturing Engineer:
Honours Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar technical discipline.
8+ years? experience in technical engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
3+ years? experience in leading a technical engineering team.
Strong experience in delivering New Products from R&D to Manufacturing environment.
Ability to communicate effectively in a cross functional environment.
Structured problem solving skills.
Project Management experience.
