Global Supply Chain Manager
Our client, a blue-chip multinational pharma company, now seeks a Supply Chain Manager who will operate as part of the global team responsible for providing a key link in Supply Chain between Customers, Inter-company and CMO sites of externally manufactured pharmaceutical products.

The successful candidate will plan production schedule at key CMO manufacturing in conjunction with Supply Chain at the CMO, and agree and communicate schedules within virtual team and to stakeholders. Ability to operate and influence high levels of the organization, both with internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers is required.

This is a permanent role based in Dublin.

Responsibilities for Global Supply Chain Manager:
Link with Global Supply Chain to determine manufacturing requirements and acceptable supply plans to fully meet network requirements.
Lead weekly Supply Chain teleconference with assigned CMO?s.
Prepare and issue forecasts to assigned CMO?s on a monthly basis in line with agreed or contracted forecast requirements.
Plan Regulatory Starting Material date and quantity requirements to support external CMO manufacturing schedule.
Determine mitigating action plan in the event of RSM delays
Prepare and present Supply Chain forecast, metrics and issues slides and Operational Review meetings for assigned CMO?s.
Link with US Supply Chain Team to co-ordinate product deliveries to internal and CMO drug product manufacturing sites.
Prepare Budget/P1&P2 manufacturing and shipping volumes for assigned CMO?s.
Provide product shipping plans to Finance for P1, P2 and Budget
Present CMO manufacturing demand vs supply volumes and potential issues at S&OP monthly meetings.
Ensure SC metrics are maintained and reported monthly for assigned CMO?s.

Requirements for Global Supply Chain Manager:
Bachelor?s degree in Science, Engineering, Business or similar. APICS CPIM and/or CSCP preferred.
5+ years? experience of master scheduling, capacity planning, materials management, import/export, SAP supply chain functionality, MS Office, project management and analytical tools in Pharmaceutical industry.
Strong leadership & people management skills, self-motivated with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence planning decisions at CMO?s.
Excellent analytical, organizational, critical thinking and problem solving skills are mandatory.
Ability to work well with diverse staff and stakeholders in multiple locations.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is an advantage.
