Job Description
Our client, a multinational healthcare manufacturing company, now seeks an experienced Supply Chain Planning Associate Director to lead the supply business process team and develop deep expertise on the planning processes and demand response capabilities.
The successful candidate will work closely with Material and Supply Chain Directors to prioritize and gain alignment for implementing the planning process improvement opportunities.
This hire will ensure consistent and rapid response from end-to-end Supply Chain of; Sales, Inventory and Operations planning (SIOP), Production Planning and Scheduling processes using Rapid Response (RR).
The job requires working with Company Directors to define and implement improvements to the supply planning business processes with the objective of reducing planning cycle times, costs and optimizing working capital.
The position will also be responsible for staffing, leading and developing a team of Business Process Analysts that will support and enhance the Rapid Response supply planning solution.
Requirements for Supply Chain Planning Associate Director:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, IS or related field.
APICS certification preferred. MBA with emphasis in Operations /IS Management is desirable.
7-10 years of Materials / Supply Chain planning, Business process or Systems experience
Experience with SAP MRP and advanced supply chain planning software
Strong facilitation / communication skills with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization
5+ years of people management experience
Highly adaptable, flexible and willing to accept new ideas, processes, and procedures
Strong project management and leadership skills
Self-motivated independent worker
Strong analytical problem solving skills
Detail oriented and organized. Performs to a high level of accuracy in all tasks
The job requires 10% travel to visit company’s manufacturing sites.
