Job Description
Our client, a blue-chip multinational pharma company, now seeks a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist who will be involved in capital & expense procurement related projects activities for the site. In addition the role will also lead the contract and sourcing activities for select site production Chemicals.
The successful candidate will provide value-added services in the procurement and delivery of materials, goods and services to site customers consistent with the principles of the Sourcing Organization in liaison with other Global Pharmaceutical Category Leaders.
Responsibilities of Supply Chain Procurement Specialist:
Implement and lead global/regional agreements for local sites.
Support and direct Global Category Teams/Leaders and Strategic procurement organisations to ensure local business goals are attained.
Supports all business units in releasing Purchase Orders in a timely manner in line with Procurement Policy and procedures.
Lead development and implement supplier relationship management process for key assigned suppliers, implement SLA?s / QBR to manage the process.
Ensure control of all company expenditure through approved systems using approved suppliers.
Ensure System maintenance of Suppliers, inventory items purchased and commercial information.
Develop a systematic discipline to manage assigned product categories leveraging cross- site opportunities.
Lead development and implement business review update to include site / supplier initiatives / savings targets for current budget year.
Lead and Support the preparation of both RFI as well as RFP in the supplier selection process.
Apply OPEX tools to lead continuous improvement of sourcing processes to ensure consistency and scalability.
Budget preparation / input to stakeholders, ensure savings are baked in.
Requirements for Supply Chain Procurement Specialist:
Bachelor?s Degree in Science, Engineering or similar technical discipline.
4 years supply chain or operational experience, of which circa 2 years of direct materials management experience.
Exceptional communication skills and be able to communicate to multiple levels within company are essential for this role.
Prior cGMP experience in biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical device industry is highly preferred.
Relevant industry procurement certifications are preferred.
