Job Description

Systems Technician:

Due to continued expansion of their operations our client a well-established Multinational Healthcare Manufacturer now require a qualified and experienced Systems Technician.

The Systems Technician will be required to support, debug and fault find complex automation systems. Technical expertise is also required to maintain, develop, debug, troubleshoot and validate these systems in a GMP compliant manner in a high volume automated environment.

This is a permanent role based in The Midlands with excellent progression opportunities

Key Responsibilities of Systems Technician:

? Maintain automated production equipment in excellent condition ensuring consistent quality, output and yield.
? Follow systematic root cause problem solving and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
? Lead and implement process improvement projects to achieve more efficient operations, driven by data analysis and OEE tools, while adhering to change management and cGMP requirements.
? Advanced skills with Allen-Bradley Controllogix5000, CompactLogix, Siemens S7, Elau and Beckhoff. Profibus, FactoryTalk , Visual Basic applications, Motion Control programming (Sercos, AB, Emerson, Lenze), Barcode systems (SICK, DVT)
? Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance, completing all associated paperwork and records.
? Develop training material and Cross Train technicians as required
? Abide by Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Policies and any relevant other EHS documentation.
? Comply with all relevant training required and adhere to relevant associated documentation.
? Follow strict adherence to the requirements of cGMP.
? Actively contribute to the enhancement of compliance initiatives for areas of responsibility.

Requirements of a Systems Technician:

? Minimum five years? experience in high volume automation or plant control.
? Experience in Life Science or medical device manufacturing environment essential.
? Experience with PLC and SCADA control systems, Motion Control systems, Robotics, Vision systems (Cognex in particular), Barcode systems, Network topology and Systematic troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
? Proficient with SQL, VantagePoint, Oracle databases
? Understanding of Process Capability and GR&R.
? Experience of equipment and software validation.
? Experience in FAT, SAT, IOPQ of automated assembly lines.
? Experience of FDA regulations, 21CFR Part 11, Electronic records, electronic signatures and Part 820, Quality system regulation.
? Must be flexible to work shifts
